New Patients/First Visit
Welcome New Patients
Hello! Welcome to Goodyear Chiropractic Health Center! It’s time to get your life back.
Thank you for choosing us. As highly-trained specialists, we’ll work hard to give you the highest quality of collaborative treatment, so you can experience accelerated healing for faster, longer-lasting pain relief.
Consultation
On your first visit to Goodyear Health Center, expect to be welcomed with a warm smile. You will be asked to fill out our required forms, which will help us gain information about you and your condition. You may request these forms prior to your visit and our Patient Care Coordinator will email them to you.
Your doctor will then talk with you about the history of your injuries, while asking you specific questions regarding your condition. This will determine what type of care will benefit you and your condition.
Examination
After the thorough consultation, you will undergo a complete examination. This will include standard orthopedic, neurological, functional, postural, and physical examinations. Remember, we treat the source of pain, not just your symptoms, with a collaborative approach. Through these examinations, the doctor will gain valuable information regarding your condition. If necessary, the doctor may take x-rays or refer you for additional testing procedures. Nothing will be done in our office without your consent.
X-Ray
An x-ray is sometimes required to get a full evaluation of a patient. The need for x-ray is considered on a case-by-case basis. All x-rays are examined by the doctors and shared with you.
Report of Findings
Once all the examinations have been performed and pertinent information has been collected, the doctor will let you know the cause of your dysfunction and/or pain. They will also make recommendations for treatment. You’ll learn how our multi-discipline approach will be utilized for treating your condition.
Treatment of Better Outcomes
Our treatment is collaborative, as multiple specialists may work on your condition for a faster, more effective result. Treatment recommendations vary by patient. Most of our patients report results within a few visits. Our hands-on techniques include manual therapy, stretching, exercise rehabilitation, massage therapy and mobilizations to decrease pain, increase range of motion, and improve movement patterns.
Our evidence-based treatments are gentle enough for infants, yet highly effective in restoring function and movement back to athletes and seniors. Ultimately, our goal is to accelerate your healing through determining the correct diagnosis while providing the best treatment options.
