Consultation
On your first visit to Goodyear Chiropractic Health Center you will be welcomed as a member of our family and our receptionist will greet you with a warm smile. You will then be asked to fill out our required forms which will help us gain some information about yourself and your condition.
Dr. Corey J Schneider will then talk with you about the history and presentation of your injuries while asking you some specific questions regarding your condition to determine what type of care would benefit and best suit you. If Dr. Corey Schneider can help you, he will let you know what is causing your dysfunctions and pain. He will then explain to you how the multi-discipline approach of Massage therapists, personal trainers and manual hands-on techniques with the doctors will be utilized for your condition. If Dr. Corey Schneider cannot help you, he will refer you to a doctor that will be able to help you the most. Nothing will be done in our office without your consent.
Examination
After the thorough consultation with the doctor, you will have a complete examination. This will include testing your reflexes, your ability to turn and bend, as well as other standard orthopedic, neurological, functional, postural, and physical examinations. The doctor will gain valuable information regarding your condition so that he will have a better understanding of how all practitioners can work together on your condition and help you. If necessary, the doctor may take X-rays or refer you for additional testing procedures.
X-ray
X-ray is sometimes required to get a full evaluation of a patient. The need for X-ray is considered on a case by case basis. All x-rays are examined then shown and explained to you by our doctors.
Report of Findings
Once all the information and examinations have been performed, the doctor will give you a report of findings, as well as his recommendations for what type of treatment will be best suited for you.
Treatment
Most of our patients begin to see results from the very first visit. Our effective techniques with massage, stretching, exercise and mobilizations for the alignment of the body are interactive with the patient. It is gentle enough for kids (they love us), yet it is able to restore function and movement for the athlete and senior.
